Founded in 2020, Mr. Studios is proud to be a Canadian business dedicated to building digital products. Too often, founders are forced to choose between technical talent that lacks strategic thinking, or business teams that don’t fully understand what’s possible to build. Over the years, many entrepreneurs came forward with strong app ideas but no clear starting point or worse, stories of time and money lost to unfinished apps, poor-quality builds, and generic, cookie-cutter solutions. Mr. Studios was created in response to that disconnect, with a focus on thoughtful, custom-built digital products that actually move businesses forward.

Meet the Founder
Michael Giancola is the founder of Mr. Studios, a Toronto software and design company serving businesses across the GTA. An engineer with degrees in Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science from Western University, Michael built and maintained mobile applications used by millions of Canadians before founding Mr. Studios. His experience spans software engineering, product development, and digital strategy, giving him a practical understanding of how to build technology that delivers real business results.
He started Mr. Studios with a simple conviction: growing businesses deserve the same calibre of engineering and design as the enterprise players, delivered through a direct, hands-on partnership. Michael's background spans both sides of the table, from writing production code to owning product strategy, so every recommendation starts with the business case, not the tech stack. Five years and dozens of launches later, that's still how Mr. Studios operates: every engagement follows a proven process led by Michael personally, delivered by a hand-picked team of designers, developers, and specialists.
